Slovenia coast Piran

If you drive ca. 20 km further south you will reach the Slovenian coast with beautiful ancient cities like Izola, Koper and Piran which stand out for their distinguished architecture; you also have the possibility of visiting the seaside resort of Portoroz, experiencing its lively atmosphere, especially during the summer days.

Being just minutes away from Italy, we often invite our guests for an one-day trip to Trieste or 'Palmanova' – a famous star-shaped fortress city, enlisted to become an UNESCO's world heritage destination as well as a known outlet village in Italy. It is located 60 km away from our hotel. Also, we are about 150 km away from the world-famous city of Venice. On demand we can organize a boat transfer from Piran.

The region 'Kras' is also recognized for its well-praised quality wines as well as numerous rural ranches that pride their centuries-long tradition of vineyard cultivation. Visiting one of those is doubtless an extraordinary experience of getting in touch with local customs and fascinating nature.

Botanical garden in Sezana is an exceptional park once owned by a maritime nobleman from the Scaramanga family. It contains 198 interesting tree species and several hundred species of exotic potted plants from all corners of the world.
